Bee Branch man arrested for fleeing and drug charges and Quitman man arrested for fleeing.

On March 12th, 2017, Deputies from the Van Buren County Sheriff's Office during a traffic stop arrested 44 year old Brit Allen Ward of Bee Branch and 38 year old Christopher K. Tulley of Quitman. Prior to the stop in the Bee Branch area of Van Buren County, the vehicle fled from deputies and them stopped onto a county road west of US Highway 65. Both occupants then fled from deputies on foot and where later apprehend. Deputies found Ward to be in possession of illegal drugs and paraphernalia. Ward was arrested and is being charged with felony Possession of a Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine or Cocaine), felony Possession of a Controlled Substance (not Methamphetamine or Cocaine), felony Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, felony Fleeing, Reckless Driving, Leaving the Scene of a Accident with Property Damage, and Driving on Suspended Drivers License. Tulley is being charged with misdemeanor Fleeing on Foot. Ward is currently incarcerated at the Van Buren County Detention Center on $6385.00 bond. Tulley later bonded on his charges.
