From the desk of Sheriff Scott Bradley

On March 19th, 2017, Deputies from the Van Buren County Sheriff's Office responded to a disturbance at a residence  in Shirley.  After and investigation into the incident and speaking with the victim, deputies arrested 46 year old John David Worthing of Shirley.  Worthing is being charged with misdemeanor Assault in the 3rd degree.  Worthing later bonded on his charges.
