Clinton man arrested of Terroristic Threatening charges.

On September 20th, 2016, Deputies from the Van Buren County Sheriff’s Office arrested 41 year old Carol Joe Grimes of Clinton. On August 2nd, 2016 Grimes, after waiting for an ambulance at Ozark Health, in which Grimes son was being transported to the hospital for medical attention, threatened a Southern Ambulance Paramedic and Detention Officer from the Van Buren County Detention Center. Witness’s statements also said Grimes physically threw the Van Buren County Detention Officer up against a wall and threatened to kill him. Grimes was charged with 2 counts of felony Terroristic Threatening. After a first appearance on September 21st, 2016, Grimes bonded.

Law enforcement makes arrest on facts they gather. All person are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
