05/26/2016 Shirley man arrested on drug charges. |

From the desk of Sheriff Scott Bradley and Prosecuting Attorney Cody Hiland On May 26th, 2016, Deputies from the Van Buren County Sheriff’s Office assisted by the Clinton Police Department and 20th Judicial District Drug Crime Task Force, arrested 19 year old Landon Gresham of Shirley. During a traffic stop, deputies found in the vehicle a syringe, after Gresham told deputies he threw the syringe in the back seat. After being brought to the Van Buren County Detention Center, deputies found a small amount of suspected methamphetamine in the sock of Gresham. After further investigation by the drug task force, Gresham is being charged with felony Possession of illegal drugs (methamphetamine), and misdemeanor Possession of drug paraphernalia. Gresham is currently incarcerated at the Van Buren County Detention awaiting a first appearance. |
