From the desk of Sheriff Scott Bradley

On May 15th, 2016, Troopers from the Arkansas State Police and assisted by the Van Buren County Sheriff's Office.  Troopers made a traffic stop near Red Hill Road on US Highway 65 North, North of Clinton.  During the stop Troopers found, illegal drug and paraphernalia in the vehicle.
Troopers arrested 57 year old Franklin Evans of Brinkley.  Evans was charged with misdemeanor Possession of a Controlled Substance and misdemeanor Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Evans is currently incarcerated at the Van Buren County Detention Center awaiting a first appearance.
