From the desk of Sheriff Scott Bradley and Prosecuting Attorney Cody Hiland On March 22nd, 2016 in the early morning hours, Deputies from the Van Buren County Sheriff’s Office, responded to a suspicious vehicle parked in a driveway on Banner Mountain Road. As deputies approached the vehicle they found a white male asleep in the vehicle, who they later identified as 19 year old Jessie Boyd Reynolds of Shirley. After a search of the vehicle, for officer safety, deputies found a load firearm in the vehicle along with illegal drugs and drug paraphernalia. Assisted by the 20th Judicial District Drug Crime Task Force, Reynold is being charged with felony Possession of a Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine) with Intent to deliver, felony Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and felony Simultaneous Possession of Drugs and Firearms. Reynolds is currently incarcerated at the Van Buren County Detention Center awaiting a first appearance. |
