From the desk of Sheriff Scott Bradley and Prosecuting Attorney Cody Hiland On May 15th, 2015 in the late morning hour Officers from the Arkansas Department of Corrections, Deputy from the Van Buren County Sheriff’s Office, and the Agents from the 20th Judicial Drug Crime Task Force was conducting an investigation into illegal drugs during a parolee home visit at 328 Lonely Pine Road in Dennard. had a vehicle drive up to the residence. Law Enforcement identified the subjects in the vehicle, and for officer safety investigated the reason for the vehicle coming to the residence. During a search Law Enforcement seized approximately ½ ounce (14 grams) of suspected methamphetamine form a female passenger in the vehicle (46 year old Pamela Lee of Jacksonville Arkansas). Lee was interviewed and arrested for Felony Possession of a Controlled Substance (methamphetamine over 10 grams but less than 200 grams a Class B Felony) Lee is currently incarcerated at the Van Buren County Detention Center awaiting a first appearance. |
