On Feb. 6th, 2015, a 23 year old man, Michael A. Turner of Fairfield Bay was arrested on drug related charges at the Van Buren County Detention Center.  Turner was serving weekends on a misdemeanor charge, when Van Buren County Detention Officers, caught him in possession of marijuana.  Turner is being charged with Felony furnishing, possessing, or using prohibited articles in a correctional facility.  Turner is currently incarcerated at the Van Buren County Detention Center awaiting a first appearance.
