Bee Branch Robbery

At approximately 3:45 a.m. Sunday, May 26, Deputies responded to a robbery call at the Bee Branch Mini Mart located at 9258 Hwy 65. Deputies arrived to find that the Suspect had used pepper spray to incapacitate the store clerk. The clerk told that the siuspect entered the store two times. The first time he came in, made a purchase and returned to his vehicle. Suspect then came back in to purchase a soft drink. When the clerk opened the register to give change for the purchase the suspect sprayed pepper spray in the clerks face, grabbed a small amount of cash from the register and ran out the door to his vehicle.
The suspect is a white male approximately 25yrs old
Suspect was wearing a dark blue baseball cap with no visible logo
Suspect was wearing a grey, short sleeved shirt with a “Clearwater’ logo on the front
Suspect was wearing dark pants
The vehicle used was a smaller type vehicle with a short trunk. The vehicle was red with sport style aluminum wheels
Investigators believe there was a passenger in the vehicle along with the suspect.
This crime is considered Robbery that is a Class B Felony. UnderArkansaslaw, both persons can be charged with this crime.
The Van Buren County Sheriff’s Department is offering a $1000 cash reward to anyone with information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person(s) responsible for this robbery.
