Breaking or Entering results in arrest.

A home owner reported on Tuesday February, 19, 2013 that his home had been burglarized. Surveillance video showed a white male with a pony-tail and a hat. The suspect took several items from the porch and then went to the shop area where he took several other items. The suspect then left in a white Ford passenger car. Investigators were able to make an identification of the suspect after a call was made to the Conway County Sheriff’s Department’s Criminal Investigation Division. CCSO Investigators believed, based on past experience wit the suspect, that the person in the video was Darren Hayes, of Greenbrier. A call toFaulknerCounty’s CID unit, and Van Buren County had the address of Mr. Hayes. Van Buren County Investigators made contact with Mr. Hayes where he admitted to taking the items that had been stolen. All items were later recovered and returned to the rightful owner.
Darren Hayes, 46, of Greenbrier is being charges with Felony Breaking or Entering and Theft of Property. Darren Hayes was booked in at the Van Buren County Detention Center where he was later released on a $10,000 bond.
