From the Desk of Sheriff Scott Bradley On August 8th, 2011 Arkansas State Police, Van Buren County Sheriff’s Office, and the 20th Judicial District Drug Crime Task Force executed a search warrant at the residence of David Cook located at 115 Nell Joe Street in Clinton, Arkansas. During execution of the search law enforcement found items used in the manufacturing of methamphetamine. Arrested at the residence was 54 year old David Cook of Clinton, 33 year old Larry Lacy of Shirley, and 27 year old Leslie N. Ward of Clinton. All three where charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia with intent to manufacture methamphetamine, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia with intent to use methamphetamine, and Maintaining a Drug Premise. Cook and Ward were released on $10,000.00 bond each. Larry Lacy is still incarcerated on $25,000.00 bond.
