In the early morning hours of Saturday January 21st 2012 a traffic stop was conducted on Hwy 92 East by Van Buren County Deputies. Subsequent to the traffic stop a small amount of Methamphetamine, Marijuana, and Marijuana Using Paraphernalia were located in the vehicle. An Agent of the 20th Judicial District Drug Task Force assisted in the investigation. The driver of the vehicle Jason Everett Newth (37) of Fairfield Bay was arrested on a felony charge of Possession of Methamphetamine and Misdemeanor Charges of Possession of Marijuana and Drug Paraphernalia.
