On June 18^th, 2011 Deputy Chad Mason of the Van Buren County Sheriff’s Office and assisted by the Clinton City Police Department Officers Gene Miller, and Jay Murdock arrested two males, after a traffic stop that lead to the seizure of an illegal controlled substance (marijuana).  The two men where identified as Garner Autry age 33 of Clinton and Gabriel Brinkley age 24 of Shirley.  After investigating into whom the marijuana belonged to, Deputy Mason arrested Gabriel Brinkley and charged him with felony possession of a controlled substance, and charged Autry with misdemeanor driving on suspended driver license.  After a first appearance Brinkley bonded on $15,000.00.

Autry later bonded on driving on suspended driver license.
