As reported by Clinton Police Chief Tony Parish,  

Clinton Police and the Van Buren County Sheriff's Department are looking for Sammy Joe Brewer for questioning in connection with a beating case from Sunday night.

Officer received a 911 call to the Sycamore II Motel laundry room on an assault case.   Officers found a female victim in the laundry room that had been beaten.   The victim was unresponsive and unable to answer any questions.  She was transported to a local hospital where she is recovering from the assault.

Police are looking for Sammy Joe Brewer for questioning and he is believed to be driving at 2007 Blue Toyota Camry with Arkansas License plate 124NWH.  If you have any information on Brewer you are asked to call the Clinton Police Department at (501) 745-4997 or the Van Buren County Sheriff's Office at (501) 745-2112.
