The Criminal Investigation Unit is supervised by Lieutenant Wesley Potts. The unit consist of 3 Full Time Investigators and 1 Part Time Investigator. Duties are to investigate illegal activities in Van Buren County, assist patrol, assist other Law Enforcement Agencies within Van Buren County and assist the Sheriff in internal investigations within the Van Buren County Sheriff's Office.
